Account Receivable Analyst Job Description

The Accounts Receivable Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the company and our clients receive correct payments. You will use skills in time management, organization, and ensure clients are properly paid from Walmart and Sam’s Club.

Responsibilities

• Helping clients manage purchase orders, invoicing, payments, and disputes to Walmart
• Verify payments from Walmart are accurate to clients
• Create reports regarding the status of client accounts as requested
• Research payment discrepancies between Walmart and the client by finding invalid fines and deductions on their checks
• Utilize tools available to identify ways to optimize accounts receivable process
• Assist Account Managers with billing and other invoicing tasks based off specific client needs

Skills

• Great attention to detail, time, and organization
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to analyze data and information quickly and proficiently using Excel
• Ability to work independently and take initiative

Preferred

• Knowledge of Retail Link and experience with APIS, APDP, NOVA, etc
• Experience with EDI providers such as SPS, True Commerce
• BS or MS in Accounting, Analytics, Business, or related field
• 1-2 years accounting experience or coursework
