Analyst Intern (2024) Application

The Analyst Intern will work alongside the analyst team to provide excellent analytical support to maximize the business of our clients at OCM through utilizing creative approaches and technical tools. The Analyst Intern will work across sales, supply chain, eCommerce, and accounts receivable to support our business.  You will learn and utilize the latest technical skills and industry knowledge through our comprehensive training program.

Responsibilities

• Help support account manager in growing clients’ business
• Extract and analyze large data sets from Retail Link, Madrid, IRI, and internal databases
• Investigate the health of sales and supply chain for assigned accounts
• Effectively communicate insightful recommendations to help grow business
• Provide recurrent and adhoc reporting
• Continuous improvement of reporting and analysis support
• Expand knowledge of self and team through improving individual skills and sharing ideas

Skills

• Problem solving and critical thinking as an individual and a team
• Effective verbal, written, and visual communication especially with data
• Proficiency in data analysis: Excel, SQL, PowerPivot, R, etc
• Knowledge of reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI

Preferred

• Experience with retail and supply chain
• Working towards BS or MS in Business, Industrial engineering, computer science/engineering, or data science
